Unfortunately, due to legal issues, I’ve had to make a few functions related to the vehicle information API obsolete. Here are the changes:

I’ve changed the endpoint URI for APIfy to http://apify.ifc0nfig.com/ and updated the documentation. The documentation is 100% dynamically driven, so as soon as a function has changed or a new feature has been added the documentation will automagically update. I’ll keep the old endpoint URI active until the end of the year.

I’ve recently got addicted to the new game from FleshPlanet called SongPop. You have to guess the name of the song or artist whilst playing against your friends. Instinctively I sniffed through the HTTP traffic and came up with anapplication that allows you to see the answers before you start a new round.

I’ve just added the functionality to check if a vehicle has been reported as stolen or not via the registration number to APIfy. I’ve also updated the example vehicle client.

After taking a look at the Tesco API, the only next logical step is uncovering the ASDA API. Unfortunately ASDA arn’t as open as Tesco as they don’t offer any public APIs that “anybody” can use. In this post we’ll take a look under the hood of the ASDA Android app to try and extract a usable API from it.
