Anyway it was fun building, and cable management wasn't that bad. overclocked his 9600 GT to 722 MHz core clock as well. All he ever wanted was to play COD4 without the textures being black.

they ended up finding out that the video card wasn't working with the mobo. the card works fine, because they tested it on other computers.
so we thought the pci express slot was broken, so they just gave me another mobo of the same model.

well set it up again, but outside my case just incase it doesn't work again and guess what? no video. the onboard video works fine, just not the card.

and yes they changed all the bios setting and all that.
so we are just going to go back tomorrow and get another one >.<]]> so me and my dad took it back to frys and went to them to diagnos it.
